Route 93 South to 24 South (Exit 4 - Left lane)
to Route 140 South (Exit 12)
to I-195 East (Exit 12E)
to Route 18 South (Exit 15 - Downtown)

Tour Bus Drivers:

Follow above directions to second traffic light.
Make left at second traffic light.
Turn left onto MacArthur Drive.
Proceed to entrance at Pier 3 by Wharfinger Building (building has flags on it).
Drop passengers at entrance. Driver can proceed straight to Whale's Tooth Parking Lot.

By Ferry

For Schedule and Fare info for New Bedford-Vineyard Haven and New Bedford-Oak Bluffs visit the New England Fast Ferry Company website.

The New England Fast Ferry is offering a discounted roundtrip fare of $50 for Vineyard residents traveling to New Bedford to attend the Working Waterfront Festival. Passengers must present a government issued id (drivers license, etc.) showing proof of island residency at time of ticket purchase.

Parking

Elm Street Garage

Free parking at the garage courtesy of the City of New Bedford

From 195 take Route 18 South to 1st traffic light. Turn right onto Elm Street. Garage is 500 ft on your right. To reach the Festival, follow Elm Street back towards Route 18 to right onto Water Street to left onto Rodman Street. Follow to the pedestrian overpass.

Whale's Tooth Parking Lot

From 195, take Route 18 South to 2nd traffic light. Turn left at light, then an immediate left onto MacArthur Drive. Follow ferry parking signs. To reach the Festival, take shuttle from lot or follow MacArthur Drive back to the waterfront.

Handicap parking is available at Fisherman's Wharf/Pier 3, State Pier and Steamship Pier.


On Street Parking

Throughout the central business district (Downtown), curbside parking is available - metered parking spaces are free on weekends.

The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott New Bedford is the official hotel of the 2010 Working Waterfront Festival.
